JAKARTA – WARTA CIANJUR – Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika (Menkominfo) Johnny G Plate ditetapkan sebagai tersangka di kasus pendugaan korupsi proyek BTS oleh Kejaksaan Agung (Kejagung). PPP menilai kondisi ini memunculkan peluang reshuffle kabinet oleh Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
“Berdasarkan setiap ada menteri yang tersangkut kasus hukum, presiden tidak pandang bulu, langsung di-reshuffle,” ujar ketua PPP DPP Ahmad Baidowi atau Awiek pada wartawan, Rabu (17/5/2023).
Awek menuturkan kasus yang menjerat Jhonny jadi momentum bagi Jokowi untuk mereshuffle kabinet. Namun, dia tidak dapat menebak apakah hanya jabatan yang menkominfo yang mengalami pergantian pejabat, atau jabatan menteri lain turut terkena reshuffle.
“Ya ini mungkin momentum sekaligus melakukan reshuffle ya. Kalau ada reshuflle ya, misal reshuffle nggak tahu hanya menkominfo atau yang lainnya juga gitu, atau pengisian wakil-wakil gitu,” katanya.
Namun, Awiek mengatakan menteri yang terkandung kasus bukan pertama kali terjadi. Diketahui ada tiga menteri Jokowi yang pernah tersandung kasus di Kabinet Indonesia Maju. Diantaranya mantan Menteri Kelautan dan Perikanan (KP) Edhy Prabowo, mantan Menteri Sosial juliari Peter Batubara, dan kini Menkominfo Johnny G Plate.
“Tapi biasanya kalau ada kasus menteri kesandung kasus hukum, beliau langsung mengambil tindakan, dan itu terjadi pada periode pertama beliau memimpin, dan juga pada periode kedua beliau memimpin juga begitu. Tidak main-main dengan soal hukum,” tuturnya.
Sebelumnya kejagung menetapkan menkominfo Johnny G Plate sebagai tersangka kasus dugaan korupsi proyek BTS. Plate ditahan di rutan Salemba cabang Kejagung untuk 20 hari kedepan.
“Atas hasil pemeriksaan tersebut, tim penyidik pada hari ini telah meningkatkan status yang bersangkutan setelah dari saksi menjadi tersangka dan selanjutnya terhadap yang bersangkutan kita lakukan tindakan penahanan untuk 20 hari kedepan Rutan Salemba Cabang Kejaksaan Agung,” kata Direktur Penyidikan (Dirdik) Jaksa Agung Muda Pidana Khusus Kejagung Kuntadi dalam jumpa pers di kantor Kejagung, siang tadi.
