Erwin mengaku diperiksa sebagai saksi dalam tragedi Kanjuruhan.Erwin diperiksa sebagai saksi selama tiga jam mulai pukul 11.18 hingga 14.33 WIB. Ia dicecar 29 pertanyaan oleh penyidik.”Nggak banyaklah, 29 pertanyaan,” kata Erwin kepada wartawan, seperti dilansir detikJatim, Rabu (12/10/2022).Dalam pemeriksaannya, Erwin mengaku materi yang ditanyakan penyidik terkait seputar kejadian di sekitar Stadion Kanjuruhan dan Panpel pertandingan.”Ya nanya seputar stadion Kanjuruhan, nanya tentang Abdul Haris (terkait penunjukan Panpel), apakah dia pernah dihukum. Karena dulu dia pernah dihukum, ya kita konfirmasi,” tutur Erwin.Erwin mengungkapkan sebagai ketua Panpel Arema FC, Abdul Haris pernah mendapatkan hukuman dari Komdis pada 2010. Namun saat itu, Harus diketahui berupaya banding.”Tahun 2010 (dihukum) oleh Komdis, saya katakan pernah. Dulu dia pernah dihukum oleh Ketua Komisi Disiplin tahun 2010.
