JAKARTA – WARTA CIANJUR – Sebuah bus jatuh dari tebing di Barat Laut, Peru. Sebanyak 25 orang tewas atas kejadian ini.
Dilansir AFP, Minggu (29/1/2023) pihak kepolisian menyebut bus tersebut membawa 60 penumpang. Bisa diketahui milik perusahaan Qorianka Tours.
“Setidaknya 25 orang tewas, Sabtu, ketika sebuah bus yang membawa 60 penumpang jatuh dari tebing di Barat Laut Peru,” kata Polisi.
Bis saat itu berangkat dari Lima dan dalam perjalanan ke Tumbes. Namun, di perbatasan Ekuador, bus keluar dari jalan dekat kota Organos.Polisi belum mengetahui penyebab dari kejadian tersebut.
Mereka mengatakan sejumlah penumpang yang terluka dibawa ke rumah sakit di El Alto dan Mancora yang merupakan resort populer sekitar 1.000 km (620 mil) Utara Lima.
Beberapa penumpang juga disebut terlempar dari bus, sementara yang lainnya terjebak di dalam bus.
